Who you are dealing with

WizMantra UAE is the UAE service of WizMantra Ace Pvt Ltd. Classes are delivered live and online by tutors working remotely, to learners across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. We do not operate a physical centre in the UAE, and we do not claim to.

What you are buying

Live one to one online sessions with a tutor, at a fixed slot agreed with you when you enrol. Not a recorded course, not a group class, not an app. You buy a plan, the plan contains a set number of live sessions, and you use them inside the plan validity.

Prices for every course are published in dirhams on the course fees page. Where a course has no published AED price, we quote it on request rather than guess.

The AED 30 demo

Before enrolling you can book a paid demo. It costs AED 30 and includes a level assessment plus a short live session so you can see how a one to one class actually runs.

The AED 30 is not refundable and is not adjusted against your course fee if you enrol afterwards. We charge for it because a paid slot is a slot a tutor blocks out and turns up for. If you would rather not pay for a demo, read the practice section first and enrol directly when you are ready.

Refunds and cancellations

Fees once paid are not refundable. Cancellations are not permitted once a plan or a session has been purchased. A request for a refund or cancellation outside this policy will not be entertained.

We would rather fix a problem than argue about a refund, so if the tutor is not right for you, if the level is wrong, or if the timing has stopped working, say so while the plan is still running. Changing tutor or adjusting the plan is usually possible. Undoing a completed plan is not.

Validity, and what happens to sessions you do not use

When you enrol you are entitled to the live sessions included in that plan, to be scheduled and completed inside the plan validity. A monthly plan runs for one calendar month from the date it is activated.

Sessions not completed inside that period lapse, with no liability on WizMantra, unless an extension applies.

When we extend your validity

• Your tutor could not take a session that was scheduled.
• WizMantra observed a holiday on what would have been a working day for you.

In both cases the validity is extended by the number of days affected. Outside these two situations, extensions are not granted, and a request for one will not be entertained. That rule exists so that a tutor slot held open for you is not held open indefinitely.

A plan belongs to one learner

Sessions or plans bought on this site are for the specific individual named at purchase and cannot be transferred to another person, including a family member. The pairing, the assessment and the lesson plan are built around one learner, so handing the remainder to somebody else would not work even if we allowed it.

Scheduling and time zone

Classes are scheduled in Gulf Standard Time unless you and your tutor agree otherwise in writing. Tutors work across time zones, so the slots available to you depend on the tutor assigned, the plan, and the hours you can commit to. Tell us your realistic window before enrolling rather than after.

Your information, and what we do with it

We collect what we need to teach you: your name, contact details, your level assessment, and the record of your sessions. We use it to schedule classes, to reach you about them, and to take payment.

We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information to any third party or agent.

Payments

Payments are taken on our payment provider's own hosted page. Card details are entered there, not here, and are not stored by us.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics cookies to collect non-sensitive data about how people move around the site, and we use it to improve the pages. Continuing to browse the site is taken as consent to that. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work, though some things will be less convenient.

Asking us to remove your data

Write to wizmantra@gmail.com and ask. We will remove what we are not required to keep for accounting.

Conduct in class

Tutors are people doing a job. Treat them with respect: no abuse, no threats, no obscenities, and keep the session to the lesson.

• Do not ask a tutor for personal information, and do not propose meeting outside class.
• If a tutor ever asks you for personal information or suggests an offline meeting, report it to us in writing straight away.
• Do not use the site or your access to tutors to recruit them, or to solicit our learners, for anything not connected with us.
• Recording a session requires the tutor's agreement first.

Misbehaviour, threats or unprofessional conduct can end your plan immediately, without a refund.

Our right to end or change things

We may end a plan where this policy has been broken. We may also change these terms from time to time, with or without notice, and the version published on this page supersedes every earlier one. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

We may change how a service is delivered, for instance the platform used for the live session, provided the sessions you paid for are still delivered.
